Tenancy law is much more than a practice area to me, which is why I strive to assist my clients in the best and most cost-effective way that I can. I have been helping landlords and tenants since before attending law school, volunteering my time with non-profits and pro-bono organizations that help individuals navigate housing-related issues. And as someone who has been in the position of both landlord and tenant, I can understand some of the challenges faced by both. Alongside English, I speak German and Farsi fluently, and am currently learning Hindi in my spare time.

My background, both as a participant and as an adjudicator making binding decisions, provides me with the insights needed to develop the best strategies to assist with your tenancy disputes.

I moved to Canada from Brazil two years ago, and as a newcomer and tenant myself, and I know how hard it can be to find a good place to live. I have more than 10 years’ experience in administration – both in large corporations and small businesses, and as part of the Bright Law team I handle most administrative work. I’m generally the person you talk to first when you call our office. I am fluent in both Portuguese and English, and I can communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
