Saul Benary

Before my call to the bar, I built a career in banking and finance - first at Scotiabank, then RBC - before turning to law. Throughout, I remained deeply committed to 2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy, serving in leadership roles with the Alberta LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce and as Alberta Representative for Canada's LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce. That blend of business acumen and community work gives me a wealth of life experience that I now draw on when assisting clients.

I earned my law degree in 2021 and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2022. Since becoming a lawyer, I have dedicated myself to helping clients stand up for their rights, both in and out of court. Since joining Bright Law, I have had the opportunity to appear at all levels of court in British Columbia, from the Residential Tenancy Branch through to the Court of Appeal.
