Renovation or Repair Orders

Director’s orders connected to significant renovations where vacant possession is required. Landlords must issue proper notices and have evidence that work truly requires vacancy. If the rental unit is in a strata property, the RTB has published Policy Guideline 21 that addresses repair orders for units that are also strata property.
