Unlawful entry, surveillance where privacy is expected, or misuse of personal information. Repeated or serious breaches can justify compensation or orders limiting future access. Please note that the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of BC (OIPC) has released a guiding document for landlords and tenants to help them understand their mutual privacy obligations.
