Patently Unreasonable

The high legal standard a court applies when reviewing an RTB decision on judicial review. A decision is patently unreasonable when it is clearly irrational or made without the legal authority to make it, not merely a decision you disagree with or think is wrong. This is a deliberately difficult threshold to meet, which is why many RTB decisions are not overturned on judicial review.
