Facilitated settlement process

An early settlement pathway where RTB staff help parties resolve disputes before a hearing. These are generally applied to cases where there is no urgent threat of eviction, and if the dispute is not purely financial in nature. It is important to note that if the parties do not want to come to an agreement, they do not need to and this step is intended to for cases where such a possibility exists.
